The Cape Elizabeth Middle School Parents Association will hold its annual Basketball Bonanza from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 in the middle school gym.

Admission to the the event is $2 per person, or a max of $10 per family.

 

At the event, eighth-grade girls’ and boys’ basketball team players will take on coed CEMS faculty teams. A free-throw and foul-shot contest, open to all middle-school students, is set for halftime.

 

The evening will also include the drawing of the MSPA’s annual raffle fundraiser. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Raffle items this year include: (currently looking for items.)

 

Refreshments will be available to purchase. This is a family event, and children younger than 10 should be accompanied by an adult.

 

The event raises money for teacher grants. Previous MSPA grants have supported the science and foreign language programs, helped pay for field trip transportation costs, and purchased art supplies.
