This vast array of activities will be spread across both the Pond Cove and Middle School campuses, utilizing outdoor space if whether permits. In addition to the plethora of treats at the Bake Sale, you can enjoy a delicious Harvest Meal!!! Local products will go into the harvest soup/chili, cornbread, and harvest salads. Burger and dogs will also be cooked and served in the cafe! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * 1st Annual Scarecrow Contest * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To get the community into the Harvest Spirit, we are holding our 1st annual Scarecrow Contest: Create your own scarecrow; Display it outside your home, neighborhood or business for the town to see; Come to the Harvest Festival on October 22 and vote for your favorite! Awards will be provided in 5 categories: Traditional (Most Likely to Scare a Crow), Funny/Whimsical, Cape Spirit, Spooky and Business. For only $5, PCPA and Arlington Restorations will provide you with your very own wooden scarecrow stake! Scarecrow stakes are available for purchase seven days a week at Alewives Farm and Jordan's Farm. | Featuring MSPA's Haunted Hall |
2010 Haunted Harvest 2010 A SCREAMING SUCCESS!!!
Families turned out by the hundreds for the Pond Cove and Middle School Parents Associations’ second annual Haunted Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 23rd. The event was held at Turkey Hill Farm, thanks to presenting Sponsor, the Eastman Family. Our hats are off to all of the school community for an awesome turnout of attendees, volunteers and sponsorship support. A special thanks goes to Haunted Harvest’s tireless committee members; Sarah Fisher, Amy Lombardo, Kimberely Shur, Eileen Hetrick, Susan Leighton, Anne Ingalls, Lisa Stevens, Sarah Spidle, Sherri Supple, Michelle Spencer, Loralee Schaedel, Molly Dall, Elizabeth Scifries, Peggy Hunter, Katie Gillespie, Impy Altznauer, Jillian Lengyl, Pat Connolly, Rachael Shesky, Tara Simopoulos, Terri Patterson, Andrea Garlock, Liz McEvoy, Sonja Gorman, Ann Misterovich, Andrea Pellechia, and Janelle Deschino. This year’s premiere games and activities provided by presenting sponsor, Arlington Restorations, provided hours of entertainment for families in addition to the much loved haunted hayride, moon bounces, Wee Witches area and CEEF sponsored Dunk tank, just to name a few. This resulted in the production of the most successful Haunted Harvest to date! Here are the numbers:

This kind of revenue could not have been generated without the commitment made by our local community.
